About Electra
Electra, Inc. was founded in 1985 by Andrea Bingham, a
service business professional who recognized the need for a
simple yet powerful software tool that could help service
businesses of all types organize, manage, and quickly access
client and revenue information.
Our latest product is ELECTRA 3.2, a low-cost yet powerful
software solution specifically designed for professional service
businesses, including aestheticians, massage therapists,
electrologists, and other health and image-enhancing service
business professionals. ELECTRA features a leading edge,
graphics-based, 32-bit Windows 98/XP/2000 user interface,
which makes it easy to learn and simple to use.
Because so many of the features available with expensive salon
packages often go unused, we've taken a flexible and modular
approach by focusing on the most essential business functions in
all professional service business, including organizing client
information, tracking service and product sales, and determining
revenues by individual practitioner. This approach allows
our users to leverage the wide variety of additional software
application packages, as needed, including word processing
packages for marketing applications, as well as spreadsheets
and accounting packages for more extensive bookkeeping tasks.
By concentrating on the most essential aspects of running
a service business, ELECTRA offers a high quality software
product at a very competitive price.
