Andrea Bingham, Registered ElectrologistAndrea has been a practicing electrologist in Lynnfield and now Middleton, Massachusetts since 1973. She has served as President, Vice President, and Secretary of the Massachusetts Association of Electrologists, (MAE) and served as an advisor to the MAE Board for 20 years after her term. In 1986 Andrea was among the first in Massachusetts to complete the necessary requirements to become a Certified Professional Electrologist, (CPE). In 2000, Andrea and a colleague created an educational program designed to educate health care professionals on the safe and effective application of laser/light for hair removal. Andrea adopted laser/light IPL technology into her practice after conducting an in-depth independent study of the safety and effectiveness of laser/light IPL technology. She has since become an Educational Consultant for two leading laser/light manufacturers., and is frequently asked to speak at seminars and to train health care professionals both in the United States and abroad. Carolyn Stone, Licensed Esthetician Graduate of Advanced Esthetics at Catherine Hinds Institute. Carolyn has been practicing for the past 9 years, beginning her career working with some of the most prominent dermatologists at Dermatology Associates in Winchester, MA. She also worked at Interlocks Salon & Day Spa in Newburyport, MA and was owner of LaFemme Day Spa in Topsfield, MA. Presently Carolyn works with one of the major esthetic distributors to consult and educate estheticians and physicians on the benefits of skin care using diamond tip microdermabrasion and laser light to improve skin problems. Karen Walsh, Registered Nurse Karen Walsh is a Registered Nurse since 1993, and Licensed Esthetician since 1999. Karen’s experience in Medical Esthetics began after completing an advanced Medical Aesthetics program at the prestigious Catherine Hines Institute in Woburn Massachusetts. Her combined medical and aesthetic background has lead her into the medical aesthetic industry, and for the past 10 years she has administered cosmetic treatments using various Laser and Intense Pulse Light equipment at a number of medical and esthetic locations in Massachusetts. She is also trained in Botox and dermal fillers such as Juvederm and Radiesse and brings these procedures to various locations as well. Her excellent reputation for administering safe and effective treatments has created opportunities with leading laser/light manufacturers for training other professionals on the safe and effective use of the equipment. Karen works under the direction of Dr. Joseph Russo in Newton. Julia Bowers, Permanent Makeup and Eyelash Extensions and Enhancements Julia has over twenty years of experience in the beauty industry. She has had in-depth training in Medical Esthetics, which introduced her to the art of permanent cosmetics. Her training and knowledge spans the globe, including Europe, Asia and the United States. Julia has been in various fields of teaching and education for Permanent Cosmetics, Esthetics, and Cosmetology, and she has been responsible for curriculum development and program implementation in prestigious schools around the world. |
